Ketones: Are they Sacred or Evil? what are they and how you may be missing out on this untapped energy source

If you have ever owned or driven a car, a motorcycle, or any kind of motor vehicle, you probably know what type of fuel that car is burning, right? If you own a Ferrari, you’d have to put gas in that Ferrari for the car to move. If you own a Tesla, then you’d have to put electricity into the car for it to move. If you own a hybrid, well, then it could run on both gas and electricity.

 

Gas cars run on gas, EV’s run on electricity. Buses, trains, airplanes, motorcycles, any type of motor vehicle would require some type of energy source to power it up, to make it move.

We’ve been talking about water fasting and overall, we feel that it was a success and we will definitely do it again.

 

If you have never fasted before and you want to give it a try, take it in small steps.

 

Try to fast for half a day first, then a day, work your way up until you know you can do it. Don’t rely on sheer willpower because your willpower is not enough to keep you on the fast. (Tweet this)

 

And if you have a medical condition, or if you have any concerns about the potential risks of water fast, definitely check with your medical professionals to help you decide what’s best for you.

Our 5-Day Water Fasting Experience - Part 3 of 4

We’ve been talking about our experience with water fasting, so this time, we’ll tell you how we prepared for the fast and how to make things a little more tolerable.

 

Approximately 6 weeks before we water fast, we started to change our diet. We cut all types of rice out of our diets. No white rice, brown rice, red rice, black rice. We also cut pasta, pastries, breads, and finally we tapered off on our desserts.

The more carbs you eat before you fast, the harder your cravings will be. So it is always a good idea to start to eat clean at least a month before you water fast.

 

And, of course, make sure you clean up your pantry and your fridge. Anything that is bad...

 I often feel like I am the busiest person in the world. A full time gig during the day, 2 side businesses to run during night time and weekends, 3 cats that constantly make a mess at home. Between the work, side gigs, housework, how could there be time to eat healthy and exercise?

Yet there are people that can do it all. We all know that someone who seemed to be able to get it all done: Career on the rise. Finances strong, home is clean and in order, and healthy as a nut.

How do they do it? And, better yet, how can I do it myself?

If they can have it all, why can’t I? I don’t believe I’m genetically any different from them.
